BROMLEY V BILLERICAY TOWN MATCH REPORT | ![]() |
![]() |
Billericay lost their sixth league game of the season and it was poor finishing that cost Justin Edinburgh's side again. Warren Ryan made his debut after joining from Margate and produced a good performance. Another mistake from Ricky Dobson allowed Bromley to score the only goal of the game. His mistake put through the deadly Nic McDonnell. His shot was saved and Bromley scored from the resulting corner. Bromley goalkeeper Andy Walker was in good form as he stopped several efforts from Danny Hockton and Billericay couldn't find a way through. Leon Hunter missed a sitter after half time when he put a shot over the bar from close range. Hunter's game ended minutes later when he received a high challenge in the leg. Luckily Leon didn't break his leg and the Bromley player somehow escaped with only a yellow card. Elder and Poole hit the woodwork when Elder should have done better. Billericay should have had a penalty when a Bromley player handballed and Walker should have been sent off for bringing down Elder when through on goal. Although bad decisions cost Billericay, they shouldn't have to rely on set pieces to score goals against average Ryman league sides. BROMLEY 1. ANDY WALKER 2. KEVIN GEORGE 3. COLIN LUCKETT 4.
